Soul’s message for the body
Don’t you miss going for a walk? Come lets go on a walk together. Its been a while since you stepped out of this room, it’s not good for you. Staying in the same place all day doing nothing has made you lazier day by day. Something needs to be done soon enough so that you can get back in shape. You slept really late last night too. This is the fourth day in a row that this has happened and I’m not even surprised anymore. I keep telling you that you need the proper eight hours of sleep but you don’t listen to me. A little bit more relaxation won’t harm you, instead you will wake up rejuvenated and relaxed and you can go about your day in a livelier manner.
I do so much for you. To keep you healthier and functioning but all you do is punish me instead. All those junk food and harmful drinks is not good for you. Its been more than a week since you ate something healthy and since you worked out. You need to do more to take care of yourself. You’re being too laid back about your health and well-being and its going to affect you sooner or later. All these late-night Netflix binge watching and midnight snacks have caused harm which you are unable to see. Changes need to be made and you will realize what I’m trying to say.
Wake up at 7am for a change. Go for a jog and eat a healthy breakfast with tea instead of brunching like you usually do. Replace that afternoon snack with a healthy protein bar because your body needs it. The altered sleep schedule will begin showing differences even before you know it. You will wake up full of energy and go to bed feeling more relaxed. Above all, you will have the satisfaction that you have been productive all day. Limit your screen time like I keep warning you to. There is so much to do. Pick up that book which you left half way because you were too lazy to finish it. I’m waiting to know how that story ends. Go meet your friends, I’m sure they will be glad to see you. You can even brag about how you’ve switched to a healthier lifestyle. Do these small changes and you’ll see what I’ve been trying to say for so long.
I know its not too difficult to do all these and I trust you. There’s a mountain to climb but we can begin by taking baby steps. Let’s take this positive step together starting today!
